A Natural and unique system: Animal mammary gland bioreactor is a natural and unique system for expression of difficult to express proteins including membrane proteins, VLP, mABs and other complex proteins. Specifically, it suits expression of membrane proteins well including ion channels, GPCR, transporter proteins, and the membrane protein is not secreted as a soluble protein, but as a part of naturally existed milk fat globule membrane (MFGM) with a typical lipid bilayer.

Guaranteed high-level expression: Our proprietary expression cassettes (patent pending), composed of animal mammary gland specific promoter and other controlling elements, can guarantee high-level expression of vast majority of target proteins (>1mg/ml) in the milk. The protein production scale varies with mg amount production in female mice in 1.5-3 months and g to kg amount production in female rabbits in 6-8 months.

Easy purification: Purification of the recombinant proteins from milk made relatively easy by separation of casein, a major protein in the milk.

Deliverable: The minimum recombinant protein delivered is 1 mg with >90% purity or meet customer needs.
